Workshop Insights from the BlueBioChain Project

👩‍🏫 The members of our laboratory participated in the workshop held as part of the BlueBioChain project at ELGO-DIMITRA's facilities, specifically at the Waste Management and Bioprocessing Laboratory, entitled "Learning to grow microalgae and isolate bioactive substances".

📝 The object of the workshop was the cultivation of microalgae and the isolation of the bioactive substances through technical extraction, as well as the chemical analysis of these substances through the HPLC method. The BlueBioChain project deals with the utilization of liquid waste for the production of high-added value biological products using microalgae.
